Seven-year-old Rett Douglas got a special makeup job today -- and while it looked a little scary, it served an important purpose. Rett became the youngest “patient” ever to take part in an emergency drill at Phoebe. Portraying a child with a serious head injury following a 9-car pileup scenario, Rett helped our teams practice what it takes to respond quickly and confidently during a mass casualty incident. When you support the Phoebe Foundation, you help ensure our Emergency & Trauma Center, Pediatrics Unit, and NICU teams have the tools and resources they need to care for our youngest patients -- no matter the crisis.
