This year at the CPAO Retreat, our talented artist Opal took a bold step by showcasing her artwork for the very first time. This experience not only allowed her to share her creativity with others but also served as a significant learning opportunity that pushed her out of her comfort zone.

As Opal prepared for the retreat, she felt a mix of excitement and anxiety. Having never sold her art in a public setting before, she was understandably nervous. However, she recognized this as a chance to challenge herself and grow, so she decided to embrace the opportunity. With determination, she set up her booth, filled with her unique creations, ready to engage with potential buyers.

Throughout the retreat, Opal had a fantastic time interacting with everyone who approached her booth. Her warm personality and genuine passion for her art shone through as she shared the stories behind her pieces and discussed her creative process. It was heartwarming to see how she connected with attendees, who were not only interested in her art but also eager to learn more about her journey as an artist.

Opal’s ability to engage with people and discuss her work with enthusiasm made her booth a welcoming space.

Now that the retreat is over, Opal is already buzzing with ideas for next year. She’s reflecting on her experience and thinking about ways to improve her inventory and presentation. Whether it’s exploring new themes, experimenting with different materials, or enhancing her booth setup, Opal is eager to take her artistry to the next level.

This first experience at the CPAO Retreat has empowered her to continue pursuing her passion for art, and we can’t wait to see what she creates for next year!
Opal’s experience at the CPAO Retreat exemplifies the importance of stepping out of one’s comfort zone and embracing new experiences. Her enthusiasm and willingness to learn not only enriched her own life but also inspired those around her. We look forward to supporting her in her artistic endeavors as she continues to grow and shine in the world of art!
