Pregnancy Resource Center of Stanly County We provide Stanly & Montgomery Co., NC with free & confidential care to empower women to make the best choice for themselves!

The PRC's free and confidential services are shared with our community through our three specific ministries. First, InSight Medical Services, staffed by licensed medical professionals, offers lab-quality pregnancy tests, limited obstetric ultrasounds, options counseling(abortion procedures, risks, and consequences; parenting; and adoption), and education on pregnancy and fetal development. Next, our LEAP (Learn-Earn-and Parent) program helps mothers and fathers grown emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually, through parenting classes, bi-weeky appointments with client advocates, and community services referrals. Finally, our abortion recovery ministry, Healing Journeys, offers forgiveness, healing, and hope through our Bible studies for women and men. WE DO NOT PERFORM OR REFER FOR ABORTION.

Common pregnancy signs are:

* Feeling like throwing up sometimes 🤢

These five celebrities were almost aborted, but each had brave mothers who stood against the odds, to allow their children to change the world.

🏀 Steph Curry’s mom was outside a Planned Parenthood when she made the decision to keep the baby, knowing that she wouldn’t be able to go through with an abortion. Now the world gets one of the most gifted basketball players.

🎤Justin Bieber’s mom was pregnant as a teen and was encouraged to abort. She decided to still have her baby. Justin Bieber’s name and music is known throughout the world now.

🏈 Tim Tebow’s mom was encouraged by her doctor to abort, due to life-threatening issues that could have killed her. She said she trusted God to protect her and her baby. Because of her choice, the world got to experience one of the most iconic football players. He has also been instrumental in helping the needy in third world countries.

🎙Andrea Bocelli’s mother was encouraged to abort because she knew he would be born with disabilities. She decided to carry her baby anyways. Her choice gave the world one of the most beautiful singing voices.

📱Steve Jobs’ mom was pressured to abort, but she instead decided to give him up for adoption. Her loving choice to allow another family to raise her baby has impacted the world. Steve Jobs has literally changed the world through his Apple products.

The baby you’re carrying could be the next basketball player, the next preacher, the next musician that this world needs! There are many others who were almost aborted, but their mothers took a step of faith, believing that their children could add to the world. 💖
