Out of precaution for safety of people driving this weekend we wanted to go ahead and cancel Bonfire recovery meeting on Saturday and 3rd Sunday night! Mental Health & Yoga workshop will be rescheduled. Date TBA soon.

TONIGHT yoga 12 step meeting is still on!! Come enjoy the evening with us! First 45 minutes is a circle sharing and last 15 min or so is breathing, mediation and gentle stretching. Open to anyone!!

We are in need of two items to better serve our guests and programs:

• A refrigerator
• A grill (charcoal or gas…either works!)

These items help us create welcoming gatherings, share meals, host cookouts, and continue building connection and healing in our community.

If you have one you’re no longer using, know of someone who does, or would like to donate toward one, we would be incredibly grateful. Every act of support…big or small, makes a real difference here.

2025 Impact Report ✨

As we reflect on 2025, we’re deeply grateful for every person, partner, volunteer, and donor who made this possible. Behind every number is a real human story.

But what these numbers don’t fully capture is the resilience we witnessed, the conversations that mattered, and the moments of clarity, connection and support that we see everyday around walls!

This work is one of community and heart. Thank you for believing in recovery, dignity, and second chances. We’re stepping into 2026 grounded, hopeful, and committed to continuing this work….together!!! 🤍

🚨 EMERGENCY SHELTER OPENING 🚨

In response to Winter Storm Fern, Stanly County, in coordination with the American Red Cross, will open an emergency shelter to provide a warm and safe place for residents in need.

đź“Ť Stanly County Senior Center
283 N Third Street, Albemarle, NC 28001

đź•— Opens: Sunday, January 25 at 8:00 a.m.

The shelter will offer sleeping cots, basic meals, and essential services. Those with special dietary needs should bring their own food. Residents are encouraged to bring medications, personal items, chargers, blankets, and enough supplies to last multiple days.

đźš« Zero-tolerance policy for drugs, weapons, and alcohol.
đź“‹ All shelter guests must sign in and out.

⚠️ Medical Notice: The shelter cannot support individuals requiring ventilators, IVs, or continuous medical monitoring.

Please share this information with anyone who may need assistance during the storm. Additional updates will be posted as conditions change.
