Last night at our 3rd Sunday Speaker Night at Will’s Place, we heard a powerful testimony that moved the entire room.
The speaker shared a story in third person…telling the journey of someone who had walked through pain, struggle, & recovery. Many of us listened with tears in our eyes as the story unfolded. And then, at the very end, we learned something that made the moment even more powerful… the story they had been telling was their own. 🥹🤲
They spoke about their journey and about the walls of Will’s Place and how peer-to-peer support means nurturing each other through the hard moments and celebrating the victories together.
That’s what we hope every person feels when they walk through our doors at WP…a community of support.
At Will’s Place, we believe recovery happens in connection. People who understand. People who listen. People who stand beside you.
So if you find yourself struggling today, know this:
There is a community right here in Stanly County that sees you, understands you, and will walk with you!! Every step of the way!!
