In observance of Thanksgiving our office will be closed tomorrow Wednesday, November 26th - Friday, 28th. Our phone line will remain open for peer support needs and detox coordination.

Spiritual Recovery, Sound Bath & Friends and Family that normally meet on Wednesdays will not meet tomorrow, but will continue next week!

Men’s AA 8:00p Wednesday Meeting & Thursday’s 6:30p As Bill Sees Meeting TBD (stay posted).

Yoga 12 Step 5:30p Friday will not meet this Friday, but will resume next Friday.

The AA Hut at Rock Creek park has their Alcothon on Thanksgiving Day. Food served at 1:15p. Meetings every hour from 2:00p - 8:00p. Please bring a side dish or desert to share. 🍽️🦃

Thanksgiving can be tough when you’re in recovery…and we want you to know you are not alone if this week feels heavy. Family triggers, old memories, and environments where substances are present can make the holidays challenging for those navigating their sobriety journey.

If you’re choosing sobriety today, here are your reminders:
✨ You’re allowed to leave a situation that doesn’t support your recovery.
✨ You’re allowed to set boundaries.
✨ You’re allowed to reach out for help.
✨ Your sobriety comes first…always.

This season can be hard, but you’re stronger than you know. One day, one moment, one choice at a time. ❤️

✨✨We want to say today a HUGE thank you to Tina Townsend from Uwharrie Bank in downtown Albemarle for pouring into our community these past four weeks. 🙌

Tina has generously shown up at Will’s Place to lead financial literacy workshops that were not only informative, but empowering for our participants!! Her knowledge, kindness, and real-world expertise have made such a meaningful impact on the individuals we serve.

Today wrapped up our final session of the series, and we are so incredibly grateful for the time, energy, and heart Tina brought into this space. ❤️

Thank you, Tina and thank you, Uwharrie Bank…for investing in our community in such a tangible way. We can’t wait to welcome you back in the new year! 🌱✨

Thank you to everyone who showed up with open hearts, delicious dishes, and a spirit of community last night!! It was so exciting to see some new faces!! Our Friendsgiving wasn’t just a meal we are shared…it felt like connection, belonging, and chosen family!!!
