Right now, there’s a big gap between what licensed Naturopathic Doctors (NDs) are trained to do and what Minnesota law currently allows—limiting patient access to the care they need.

🔍 Naturopathic Doctors complete accredited 4-year medical programs with extensive clinical training. In fact, they serve as primary care providers in many U.S. states, but not in MN.

🚫 Minnesota restricts Naturopaths from practicing to the full scope of their training or integrating within Minnesota’s broader healthcare system.
This means Minnesota patients lose access to timely, comprehensive, and affordable care that NDs are fully trained to provide.

In the cold and dark season, it’s easy to stay inside. On the solstice, I bundled up and took myself to the woods. The crisp air, the crunch of snow underfoot, and the quiet whispers of the forest surrounded me as I traced the path of a fox and coyote. There were no human trail signs on my snowy path—only the magical journey of these wild creatures. I enjoy imagining a fox on her mystical adventure through the forest. On the longest night of the year, I found light in the simple, soulful connection to nature. Food for the soul.
