Our Story

We began our journey into skincare by way of Dr. Downes removing skin cancers and sun damage being prevalent. He is a General Surgeon and has been removing skin cancers for years. He wanted to offer good quality medical grade sunscreens first. Next, we grew into the corrective side of skin care primarily caused by sun damage.We now offer Obagi, SkinMedica, Revision Skin Care, Neocutis and bareMinerals.We offer Chemical Peels by SkinMedica and Obagi. We also offer the IPL Photorejuvenation for improvement for pigmentation, age spots, sun spots, broken capillaries and overall skin appearance while stimulating collagen and elastic fiber production. We offer dermaplaning, Anti Aging and Exfoliating Facials and hair removal in small areas such as facial or underarm. Bella Skin Care is located within Marshall Surgical Clinic, the office of Dr. Thomas Downes. 256-593-1611.

Dr. Downes and the staff love helping people improve their skin. We do make appointments outside of regular hours, please call to arrange a time that works best for you. We do consults by appointment only. If you need to pick up product, you can come by the Boaz office Tuesday, Thursday or Friday and the Guntersville office on Monday(7:30 to 5) or Wednesday(7:30 to 1). We do offer shipping as an option.
