omen, Infants, and Children (WIC) program is offering Ready, Set, Baby, a free two-part educational series designed to help expecting families prepare for birth, breastfeeding, and the early weeks with a newborn.

Classes are held on the second and fourth Thursday of each month from 3–4 PM at the CCPHD Battle Creek WIC office, located at 190 E. Michigan Ave., Battle Creek.

Space is limited, and advanced registration is required. Families can register by contacting a WIC Peer Counselor or by calling or texting 269-832-0659. A QR code for registration is also available on the program materials.

The Calhoun County Public Health Department will be offering hearing and vision walk-in dates at our Battle Creek and Albion Health departments. These screenings are for incoming Kindergarteners and no appointment is necessary .
