Play Therapist use different toys/ tools from different catagories of play. Each playroom might have different toys but all the catagories should be represented. The catagories are real life, nurture, aggressive, creative expression and emotional release. Depending on the type of play therapist they might also have structured play toys like games.

I also have sensory components to my playroom for regulation needs that may occur during session.

Answer- Everyone! Did you know even adults can benefit from play therapy? Charles E. Schaefer who is a founder in play therapy even wrote a book about it and there are more research studies that show the benefit of play therapy with populations other than children.

Hey Everyone, Happy Friday! You made it!
