Hi all! I created a Google form for anyone that is interested in the free sessions I'm offering to no/low-income people. You must be at least 18 years old and have the ability to get to my office in Albuquerque (near Nobhill). I ask that if you are not low-income, please do not fill this out. These spaces are for people that truly cannot afford bodywork sessions. I'm capping it at 16 people and once the list is cleared I'll open it again.

And please share if you think that anyone you know will benefit from this. Thank you! 🔮

Hi everyone! I wanted to make an introductory post so people can get a feel for me and my work. My name is Luna Reyna Fernandez, and I recently became a licensed massage therapist in Albuquerque, NM. I'm a q***r, non-binary, indigenous, fat, and neurodiverse survivor. Bodywork has been one of the most fundamental tools in helping me through my healing journey, and I chose this career because I want to provide this work to people in my community.

As a person with many intersecting identities, I know it can be difficult to find practitioners who feel safe and non-judgemental. For this reason, I want to build my practice around working with q***r, trans, disabled, swers, and neurodiverse people, as well as people of size and survivors. I have been trained in trauma-informed care, and the most important thing to me in session with a client is to make sure they feel as safe and supported as possible. 

I've been trained in many modalities and I specialize in Swedish massage, deep tissue, and different forms of energy work (CST, polarity therapy, and pranic healing). Every session is customized to each individual's unique needs, so my treatments are never formulaic and one-size-fits-all.  

I believe that bodywork should be accessible to everyone, but unfortunately in this capitalistic world, it isn't always accessible to low-income people. Due to this I've chosen to keep my prices low and will be providing a 10% discount to service workers, disabled people, swers, and community organizers. I will also be offering 1 or 2 free sessions a week to people that are unable to afford bodywork -I'll be posting when those slots are available here, so keep an eye out!-
