Today is World Children’s Day — a reminder that every child deserves safety, support, and space to feel their emotions.

Not all children are excited for the holidays. Some are navigating anxiety, loneliness, overstimulation, or grief.

This season, let’s slow down and notice the quiet signs:
💛 A child withdrawing
💛 A child overwhelmed by noise or change
💛 A child who seems “different” during gatherings

Their feelings matter.
Their experiences matter.
And their mental health deserves protection just as much as their physical health.

We’re blessing one family in each city — Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Farmington, and Hobbs — through our Adopt-A-Family 2025 holiday initiative.

If your family needs support this Christmas, you can submit a video and enter to be selected.
Here’s how to nominate yourself or someone you love ⬇️

Four families will be chosen — one per location — to receive Christmas gifts, meals, warm clothing, and support for the holidays.

You don’t have to wait for the “right moment” — healing starts in the small ones.

When you feel overwhelmed, pause and ask yourself: What do I need right now?

Maybe you need a moment to breathe and check in with your emotions.
Maybe you need something calming to quiet your stress.
Maybe you need to express what’s been sitting on your heart.
Or maybe you need connection — a safe voice, a caring message, or warm company.

There’s no wrong answer.

From November 13 – December 1, we’re accepting photo or video submissions to help us select 1 winning family in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Farmington, and Hobbs.
Each winning family will receive:

We connected with incredible organizations and community members who are making a difference—supporting families, sharing resources, and spreading hope. 💖

It was inspiring to see leaders and local providers come together to strengthen our communities through compassion, service, and collaboration.
