T1D friends… let’s play a little game 👇💙

“Tell me you have Type 1 Diabetes without telling me you have Type 1 Diabetes.”

I’ll go first:
📟 My phone alarms go off more than a hospital monitor.

Your turn! Drop yours in the comments ⬇️

🧃 I always know exactly where the juice is.
🍬 My bag has more snacks than a movie theater.
📈 I check my phone more for my CGM than for texts.

For a child living with Type 1 Diabetes, every single day is filled with decisions, alarms, finger pokes, carb counting, and constant monitoring. It’s exhausting for kids and heartbreaking for parents who just want their child to feel safe and live a normal life.

The technology that helps manage T1D — insulin pumps, continuous glucose monitors, and even the cell phones required to run the newest systems — can completely change a child’s life. These tools help stabilize blood sugars, prevent dangerous highs and lows, and give families something priceless: peace of mind.

But many families simply can’t afford the newest pump technology or the compatible phones needed to run them. And that’s where PumpedNM steps in.

Through the generosity of our community, we help purchase insulin pumps and the updated cell phones required to run the life-changing technology that keeps these kids safer every day.

And the truth is, it doesn’t take a big donation to change a life.

If people simply gave $5 a month — less than a cup of coffee — it would add up quickly and allow us to help more children get the technology they deserve. Small monthly donations create big change when a community comes together.

Type 1 Diabetes never takes a break. These kids fight this battle 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The least we can do is make sure they have the tools to fight it safely.

💙 Please consider becoming a $5/month donor to PumpedNM and help us change the lives of children living with T1D.

Because every child deserves the chance to just be a kid — not a pancreas.

Let’s talk real life for a second 👇

Movement doesn’t always mean walking, running, or pushing through.
Some days it means resting.
Some days it means checking numbers.
Some days it means saying not today—and that’s still a win 💙

👉 What’s one thing you wish people understood about diabetes and movement?

Drop it in the comments ⬇️
Your answer might help someone else feel less alone.

If you could tell newly diagnosed-you one thing, what would it be?

💙 We Are So Grateful! 💙

A huge THANK YOU to Dutch Bros for choosing Pumped NM for Give Back Day! Your generosity helps us continue our mission to provide a better quality of life for New Mexico children with Type 1 Diabetes through empowerment and increased access to insulin pumps — life-enhancing technology that unlocks freedom, hope, and improved health outcomes.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, shared our post, and helped spread the word. Every cup of coffee, every message, and every act of support brings us closer to our vision of making hope a reality for families in our community.

Because of YOU, we can keep working to alleviate the financial burden of insulin pumps and ensure that no child in New Mexico has to navigate Type 1 Diabetes without the care they need.

Liam had the joy of meeting a peer from both the T1D and Dutch Bros communities, sharing smiles, celebrating generosity, and connecting over the bond that comes from walking the same Type 1 Diabetes journey.

From the bottom of our hearts — thank you! 💙
