🚨 Important Safety Alert for Parents & Providers 🚨

The FDA has announced a recall of nearly 90,000 bottles of children’s liquid ibuprofen due to potential contamination with foreign material, including reports of “gel-like mass and black particles.”

🔍 What to know:

Affected product: Children’s Ibuprofen Oral Suspension (100 mg/5 mL, 4 oz bottles)
Lot numbers: 7261973A and 7261974A
Expiration date: January 31, 2027 ()
Distributed nationwide

⚠️ The FDA has classified this as a Class II recall, meaning there is a low risk of serious harm, but temporary health effects are possible.

👉 What to do:

Do NOT use the recalled product
Dispose of it or return it to where it was purchased

🚨 FDA Safety Alert: Alcohol Prep Pad Recall

Cardinal Health has issued a nationwide recall of Webcol™ Large Alcohol Prep Pads due to potential microbial contamination. These products are commonly used prior to injections and procedures.

Contaminated prep pads may increase the risk of infection—especially for immunocompromised patients, including those undergoing chemotherapy or with chronic conditions. ()
