When we are emotionally exhausted from worldly affairs, what to do?

Seek nature

Instead of staring at the the TV, gaze into a leaf, a plant, a star

Turn off the external noise to hear the sounds of nature: the birds, the wind

Allow the skin to feel the touch of nature vs that which is artificial and man-made

You have the power within you to act in ways that nourish your mind, fill your spiritual cup and restore our faith.

and turn off the TV

Ardha Chandrasana - a great asana for September to ground and release in balance!

We are enjoying this asana to ground Vata and release excess Pitta from hot months.

Activating the femur of standing leg and working against gravity with other leg we get a lot of action and activation.

As the body stretches out, especially through the side and axilla, we can release excess heat and promote circulation.

Try adding this in to your fall routine.

We are compelled to want more, especially of what we like and desire.

Ayurveda reminds us that just enough, not too little and not too much is the way to health.

As we welcome September with two eclipses, fall equinox and Navratri we are reminded to check in ….

Today we celebrate Ganesha Chaturthi, the birthday of Lord Ganesha- a loved and respected being that is remover of obstacles, guardian of wisdom, and Lord of beginnings.

The story 🖊️
According to the Puranas Ganesha was created by goddess Parvati from clay and breath to guard her while she bathed. When Lord Shiva, her husband returned and Ganesha refused him entry., Shiva beheaded him in anger. Not knowing it was actually his son made by Parvati.
So to console Parvati upon seeing her beheaded beloved son, he replaced Ganesha‘s head with that of an elephant - symbolizing strength, wisdom and compassion and blessed him to be the first honored in any endeavor or ritual.

What we learned 🙏🏽
Ganesha reminds us that obstacles are not punishments, but teachers . When we approach them with patients and devotions, they become steppingstones to wisdom.

A reflection for you 🦋
Where in your life are you facing resistance or obstacles? What would shift if you saw them as guides instead of barriers?

How to honor Ganesha today 🐘
• offer a simple prayer, a flower or a fruit to your altar or under a tree
• chant OM GUM GANAPATAYE NAMAHA
• begin something new with the intention of clarity and trust
• practice, removing inner obstacles like self-doubt, fear or hesitation

Make sure bless you with clarity, courage, and joyful new beginnings 🪷🕉️

When you step onto your mat, you’re not just moving your body you’re speaking the language of your inner world.

Every asana becomes an expression of who you are in that moment : strength, surrender, openness, or grounding.

Yoga is not exercise, it is a sacred practice. It is a way to embody your truth.

The path isn’t always easy, but every step matters.

Even when it feels like nothing is changing, you are growing .
Even when the goal seems far away, you are moving closer .
Even when the world feels heavy, your light is still there.

Don’t stop,
breathe,
move forward,
trust

Today remember strength doesn’t always feel like power sometimes it feels like simply continuing on step-by-step.

Your mind needs to exercise also🙌

we trained the body to feel strong, but what about the mind?
Meditation is the art of exercising your inner world . Just like your muscles you can also strengthen your mind through meditation and feel the benefits:

☑️ clarity
☑️ emotional calm
☑️ resilience to stress
☑️ a sense of connection

Train your mind, nourish your silence and reconnect with yourself. In Ayurveda we remember that life is a tripod between the body of the mind and the spirit. It is easy to become body obsessed, and forget about the mind. Let’s stay balanced.

Ayurveda is the timeless science of life. A sister science to Yoga, it teaches us to live in rhythm with nature – aligning our inner world with the outer world.

It’s not just about herbs for treatments. It’s a way of being.
• how we eat
• how we wake up
• how we digest emotions and food
• how we live in harmony with the seasons

At its heart, Ayurveda is about BALANCE – finding the path back to your unique center. A science to align.

What part of life feels most out of balance right now? Come explore with us how Ayurveda can help you get right back on center.

🌕 GURU PURNIMA 🌕
Today we honor the light of the Guru—the one who removes darkness and reveals the truth. Whether it’s an external teacher or the wisdom within, Guru Purnima invites us to pause, reflect, and bow in gratitude.

Offer silence, light a candle, or simply sit in presence.
Honor those who guide you home to yourself.

“The Guru is the bridge between the soul and the Self.” – Upanishads

May we all walk this path with humility, devotion, and clarity.

“Gu” means darkness. “Ru” means light.

In Sanskrit, Guru is one who guides us from confusion into clarity, from ignorance into wisdom, from fear into trust.
But a Guru is not always a person.
It can be a quiet moment.
A heartbreak that softened you.
A book that awakened something within.
A sunrise that reminded you to begin again.
Or the voice of truth you hear in stillness.

On this full moon of Guru Purnima (Thursday July 10), we are invited to honor all that illuminates our path.
✨ Give thanks.
✨ Reflect.
✨ Bow to the light within and all around
