We wrapped up Spirit Week in the coziest, comfiest way possible — Flannel Day was a total hit! From classic plaids to bold patterns (and even some extra teamwork fun 😉), our speech therapy and occupational therapy team showed up warm, festive, and full of heart.

Flannel Day is more than just a vibe — it’s a great way to support sensory comfort, regulation, and connection in OT, while Speech targets descriptive language, social interaction, humor, and shared experiences. When clinicians feel comfortable and connected, that energy carries straight into therapy sessions 💬🧠

🎅🎄 Christmas Spirit Week – Santa Hat Day! 🎄🎅

Day 4 of Spirit Week had us all channeling our inner Santa — and the hats did not disappoint! ❤️🤍
From classic red-and-white to festive twists, our speech therapy and occupational therapy team showed up merry, bright, and ready to spread holiday cheer throughout the clinic.

Santa Hat Day is more than just adorable photo ops 🎁 — it’s a perfect opportunity for flexibility, self-regulation, and sensory tolerance in OT, while Speech targets social language, commenting, answering WH-questions, and shared joy around holiday themes. Therapy works best when it’s joyful — and today was full of it!

🎄🧶 Christmas Spirit Week – Ugly Sweater Day! 🧶🎄

If “ugly” means bold, festive, and full of personality, then our team absolutely nailed it today! 😄
Ugly Sweater Day brought out the holiday humor, the loud patterns, and the confidence — and our speech therapy and occupational therapy team showed up ready to sleigh.

Beyond the laughs, days like this are powerful for our kids. Ugly sweaters open the door for descriptive language, humor, social commenting, self-expression, and flexibility in Speech — while OT taps into tactile tolerance, visual processing, regulation, and social participation. Functional therapy + festive fun = the best combo 🎅✨

Day 2 of Christmas Spirit Week was sweet, festive, and full of red & white cheer! 🍬✨

Our speech therapy and occupational therapy team showed up looking like walking candy canes — spreading joy, smiles, and holiday fun all throughout the clinic.

Candy Cane Day isn’t just cute (though it totally is 😍). It’s also a fun way to spark engagement, joint attention, descriptive language, and visual discrimination during sessions. From talking about colors and patterns in Speech to supporting flexibility, regulation, and social participation in OT — we love turning holiday spirit into meaningful therapy moments.

And just like that… we kicked off Christmas Spirit Week in the comfiest way possible! 💤💫
Our incredible speech therapy and occupational therapy team showed up cozy, festive, and READY to play, learn, and connect — all while rocking their favorite pajamas!

Pajama Day isn’t just about comfort (though we fully support that 😉). It’s also a great way to support self-regulation, sensory comfort, and engagement, especially for our kiddos who benefit from a calm, familiar feel during sessions. OT and Speech working together to keep therapy functional and fun? Always a win. 🙌

Today’s Spirit Week theme? FULL-ON HALLOWEEN MAGIC!
And our team came ready to serve heroic poses, crunchy pickle power, banana brilliance, and culinary cuteness that would make any Pixar character jealous.

From our mighty Red Ranger defending communication skills and self-regulation like a true hero, to our fearless pickle crunching through speech sound goals, and our banana bringing big-time potassium + positivity, this crew didn’t play around.
Oh, and we even had a master chef stirring up sensory + language fun… because therapy is always better with imagination on the menu.
