Keep the person calm and as still as possible until medical help arrives. Avoid washing the bite area because any venom left on the skin can help identify the snake. DO NOT apply a tourniquet, cut the wound or attempt to suck the venom out.

Clear hard or sharp objects away from the person.
Don't try to hold her down or stop the movements.
Place them on their side, to help keep her airway clear.
Look at your watch at the start of the seizure, to time its length.
Don't put anything in their mouth.
