Yin Yoga is a deeply restorative practice designed to support stress relief, nervous system reset, and better sleep. Postures are held for 3–5 minutes, gently targeting the hips, thighs, and lower back, with mindful attention to the neck and shoulders.

These longer holds allow the body to soften, the breath to slow, and the mind to settle—making Yin especially powerful for anxiety, overstimulation, and deep rest.

It is with a full heart and mixed emotions that I share my decision to retire at the end of this year. While I’m eager to begin the next chapter—one filled with travel, reflection, and treasured time with family—there is a profound part of me that will miss the daily rhythm of HYDT and the remarkable people who have filled my life with purpose and joy. The connections we’ve built together, the friendships that have grown far beyond the studio walls—these are gifts I will carry with me always.

HYDT has never been just a studio. It has been a living, breathing idea—something Molly and I dreamed into being 20 years ago. To see that idea grow into a true community, a sanctuary, and a family has been one of the greatest honors of my life. That spirit will continue to thrive under Molly’s incredible leadership, Kelly and Dani quietly keeping every detail running smoothly, and a team of devoted, talented instructors who pour their hearts into what they do. And of course, none of this exists without you—the community of yogis who show up, support one another, and make HYDT what it is.

I’m not saying goodbye. My journey with you doesn’t end here. I’ll simply say: See you on the mat, somewhere down the road!

Gentle Warm Yoga was founded and created by co-owner Bruce Sher to provide a therapeutic, warm, and mindful yoga experience. The class helps students move safely, increase mobility, build strength, and feel calm and balanced.

Taught in a warm room (85–90°F), this class is perfect for:
🌸 Beginners
💪 Anyone managing injuries or health challenges
🧘‍♀️ Older adults or anyone seeking a gentle, restorative practice

Props are used to support every posture — including chairs, blocks, straps, blankets, and tennis balls — making yoga safe, accessible, and effective for all levels.

Safety in movement is our top priority — the class encourages exploration and awareness rather than demands or commands.

💛 Come as you are — all levels welcome, and leave feeling grounded, strong, and restored.
