🧠 May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💚

Survivors often carry invisible wounds that require specialized, trauma-informed care. Healing isn’t the same process for everyone. It takes compassion, culturally aware support, and safe spaces where survivors are heard, believed, and empowered.

This month, we honor the strength it takes to survive and the care it takes to heal. Let’s continue to break the silence, reduce stigma, and ensure survivors have access to the mental health resources they deserve.

✨May is Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month✨

A time to celebrate the rich histories, cultures, and contributions of AAPI communities in the United States. As we honor this diverse and resilient group, it is equally important to recognize the unique challenges many AAPI individuals face, especially when it comes to s*xual assault, domestic or intimate partner violence, and human trafficking.

By raising awareness and amplifying the voices of AAPI survivors and advocates, we can work toward solutions rooted in cultural understanding, community healing, and policy change. This month, and every month, let’s stand in solidarity with AAPI communities and commit to ending all forms of violence.

We were honored to have Albuquerque City Councilor Tammy Fiebelkorn open the New Mexico’s Fight Against Human Trafficking: Collaborative Solutions for Change Conference with a message of unwavering support.

Councilor Fiebelkorn affirmed her commitment to survivors of human trafficking, s*xual assault, domestic and intimate partner violence and praised the vital work being done at Albuquerque SANE Collaborative. Her words set the tone for a day of courageous dialogue, collaboration, and advocacy.
