At Covell Consultants, we're passionate about giving back, and here's why:
Lyle Thurston, Jana Covell’s father, grew up on a farm in North Dakota during the Depression. Times were hard and one year the only Christmas gift he received was a red fire truck from The Salvation Army. When he grew up, Lyle became a Marine, an accomplishment of which he was very proud.
Lyle never forgot how much that fire truck meant to him. Each Christmas as an adult, he always donated a red fire truck to The Salvation Army so that another little boy could know the joy that he felt. Lyle went to be with the Lord in 1995. Each Christmas since, each of Lyle’s immediate family members continues his tradition. In honor of Lyle’s service with the Marines, Jana decided a few years ago to make her donation through Toys for Tots.
At Covell Consultants, LLC, we hope you would consider how you might bless a child that may not have a Merry Christmas without your help. More than that, however, we hope that you would also understand that the greatest gift of all was the birth of the Baby Jesus in Bethlehem, and that you will accept His gift of eternal life.
John 3:16-For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
