☯ I spend a lot of time thinking about what it means to practice from a place of healing rather than pathology. How do we show up for the people we support in ways that recognize their capacity rather than their deficits?

That question is woven through all three of the trainings I am offering this April in Albuquerque.

Lately I have been thinking about my own culture. Heavier than usual with the current political climate. It shapes how I move through the world. How I relate. How I practice. It is always present.

When I do not pause to reflect on my own lived experience, it shapes my interactions in ways I am unable to see. We talk about this often, rarely do we have the time to slow down and reflect.
