We are awarding 10 $250 mini grants to educators around New Mexico as a way to honor the work of Tamara S. Wheeler and thank you for the amazing work you do for our students.

Teen Spectrum Social is a monthly group where teens ages 13–17 who have autism — or suspect they may be on the spectrum — can connect with peers, have fun, and make new friends in a supportive environment. Each month, the group meets at a different location to explore new activities and capture a wide range of interests, helping participants build confidence, social skills, and community connections. Please join Elevate the Spectrum on Thursday, January 22nd, 2026, as we once again host Autism Day at the Legislature!
From 8 am to 2 pm, join us and fellow agencies, organizations, and speakers as we gather at the rotunda. Learn about the legislation process, speak with state and department leaders, and support advocacy movements. This is a free event for the public. Families and individuals are encouraged to attend.

It's that time again!
Join us Friday, October 10th, 2025, at Galloping Goat Pumpkin Patch in Rio for our annual Sensory Hour at the Patch!
Gates open early at 8am for families and autistic individuals to enjoy free admission and smaller crowds.
Free admission is during the first hour, but families are welcome to stay and continue the fun when the gates open to the general public.
