Today is National Doctor’s Day! 🩺🥼

We at Rio Grande Hospice would like to give a big shout out to our Chief Medical Director, Dr. Anthony Fredericks, as well as Hospice Physician Emily Wheelis.

We are incredibly fortunate to have these two amazing physicians on our team. They go above and beyond every day to ensure our patients’ needs are met, from visiting patients in their homes to taking calls at all hours.

We couldn’t do it without them!

Thank you, Dr. Fredericks and Dr. Wheelis, for your dedication and commitment to providing the highest quality hospice care to the people of New Mexico.

This month, for Social Worker Month, we want to recognize our incredible social worker, Joscelyn Lister.

She goes above and beyond to support our patients and their families. She walks alongside them, shows up with compassion, and helps carry some of the weight during some of life’s hardest moments.

The work she does often goes unseen, but it never goes unfelt. We are truly grateful to have her on our team. 🙏🏽
