Once HIV has advance to stage 2, it is important to stat ART immediately (Check our previous post about ART😉). Otherwise it may advance to AIDS within 10 years.

ART reduces the amount of HIV in the blood. Although this medication does not cure HIV infection, taking ART after an HIV diagnosis helps people with live a longer and healthy life.
