Dr. Chan went to Washington DC last month to advocate for optometry right before the shutdown. We are grateful to live in a country where we can advocate for our health care!

In the early 90s and at the request of Dr. Tony Chan, Dr. Michael Browde (who is now Emeritus at UNM School of Law) counseled a then young Dr. Mamie Chan on becoming a lawyer. Now, nearly 35 years later, we are grateful for the longstanding friendship of the families. Dr. Browde told Dr. Mamie Chan, “I think you made the right choice!” 😊
