We recognize the sacred role of grandparents—not only as caregivers and storytellers, but as cultural anchors and spiritual guides.In every home we enter, we strive to offer care that reflects their dignity, their language, and their legacy. Today, we give thanks. For their teachings. For their laughter. For the paths they’ve cleared for us all.

Moments of Joy at Red Willow
Last week, our Red Willow Hospice team had the privilege of spending time at a local assisted living memory care unit, sharing smiles and stories through the simple beauty of flower arranging.
Residents chose blooms, built bouquets, and enjoyed the sensory richness of color and texture—all with the gentle support of our staff. These small moments spark connection, dignity, and delight, reminding us that compassionate care goes far beyond clinical walls.
Thank you to the ALF team for welcoming us into your space. We’re honored to walk alongside your residents in ways that celebrate life, memory, and creativity. 💐

Thank You, Pueblo of Isleta Elder Center and Community!
Red Willow Hospice extends heartfelt thanks to the Pueblo of Isleta Elder Center for hosting such a vibrant and welcoming Community Health Fair last Friday. Our team was deeply grateful for the hospitality, the engaging dialogue, the delicious food, and the opportunity to build strong community resource connections.
Events like these remind us how essential it is to come together in support of health, dignity, and shared care. We’re honored to be part of a community that values connection, tradition, and compassionate outreach.

*Gratitude from Red Willow Hospice at NMHCA 2025*
We are still glowing from the incredible energy at this year’s NMHCA Convention. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, shared stories, asked questions, and reminded us why this work matters so deeply. Your presence and kindness made our time there truly unforgettable.
Our booth theme—Self Care: Honoring the Caregiver Within—was a gentle invitation to pause, reflect, and remember that those who care for others also deserve care themselves. In hospice, we walk alongside families and patients every day, but we are also part of a larger community that holds each other up. This weekend, that truth was beautifully visible.
💜 A heartfelt thank you to all who participated in our activity, “Remembering with Heart, Serving with Grace.” Choosing a feather, writing the name of a loved one, or sharing something you hope to be remembered for—it was a powerful reminder that we are all connected. Each feather carried a story, a memory, a hope. Together, they formed a tapestry of compassion and resilience.
We left the convention feeling renewed, inspired, and deeply grateful. From all of us at Red Willow Hospice, thank you for walking this path with us.
