What people don’t see about fertility treatment is everything behind the scenes.

The early morning appointments.
The injections and medication schedules.
The constant waiting… for results, updates, and that pregnancy test.

They don’t see the hard conversations or the quiet tears.
But they also don’t see your strength, your resilience, your courage to keep going.

If you’re on this journey, please remember — you are not weak. You are incredibly strong.

At Caperton Fertility Institute, you never walk alone. 💛

Inspiring the next generation 💙

Dr. Kelly Caperton had the privilege of speaking at ABQ Academy’s Career Day, sharing what life is like as an OB/GYN & Fertility Specialist. From delivering babies to helping individuals and couples grow their families, it’s a career built on compassion, science, and hope.

Moments like these remind us how important it is to educate and empower future healthcare leaders right here in our community.

Thank you, ABQ Academy, for the warm welcome and for giving students a glimpse into the world of reproductive medicine!

💛 March is Endometriosis Awareness Month

Endometriosis is a condition where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus. It can cause symptoms like pelvic pain, heavy or painful periods, fatigue, and sometimes difficulty getting pregnant.

But symptoms can look different for everyone — and many people spend years searching for answers.

By raising awareness and talking openly about endometriosis, we help more people recognize symptoms, seek care sooner, and feel supported in their health journey.

Education matters. Support matters. Awareness matters.

Your uterine lining is the foundation for pregnancy.

Each cycle it thickens to create a nutrient-rich space where an embryo can implant and grow. For implantation to happen, the lining needs the right thickness and the right timing.

Estrogen helps build the lining, while progesterone prepares it for implantation. During fertility treatment, we monitor lining development closely and can support it if needed.

Because in fertility, timing, balance, and environment all matter.

It’s the little things in life 💛

Our new fertility and IVF stickers have arrived, and we think they’re the cutest little reminders of the strength and hope that come with every fertility journey.

If you’re visiting the clinic, grab one on your way out. Sometimes a small thing can brighten your day.

March is Endometriosis Awareness Month 💛

Endometriosis affects an estimated 1 in 10 women and people assigned female at birth, yet many spend years searching for answers about their symptoms.

Common signs can include:
• Painful periods
• Chronic pelvic pain
• Pain during in*******se
• Difficulty getting pregnant

Endometriosis doesn’t just affect daily life — it can also impact fertility. The good news is that there are treatment options and pathways to building your family.

If you’ve been struggling with painful periods or trying to conceive without success, you’re not alone. Our team at Caperton Fertility Institute is here to help you explore your options with compassionate, personalized care.

💛 Awareness leads to earlier diagnosis and better support.

You may have seen fertility cleanses online—detox teas, herbal elixirs, even “fertility enemas” claiming to reset hormones and flush toxins.

Here’s the truth: your body doesn’t need a cleanse to prepare for pregnancy. Your liver and kidneys already detox your body naturally.

There’s no clinical evidence that fertility cleanses improve fertility, and some extreme detoxes or herbs can actually disrupt ovulation or cause nutrient deficiencies.

If you want a real fertility reset: eat a balanced diet, sleep well, manage stress, limit alcohol and smoking, and talk to a fertility specialist before starting supplements or detox programs.

Science beats snake oil—every time.
