Today, within just 17 minutes, Alburgh Rescue responded to two calls back-to-back.

The first was a mutual aid request in Swanton. While handling that, a second call came in within our own coverage area. To ensure the best level of care, we reached out to our neighbors in Swanton to see if an advanced provider was available.

Thanks to their teamwork, we were able to pick up an AEMT at the Missisquoi Valley Rescue station.

This is a great example of neighbors helping neighbors and working together to provide the highest level of care to our communities.

On Monday, March 30th, things got intense!

We teamed up with the Alburgh Volunteer Fire Department and the Isle La Motte Volunteer Fire Department for a joint training exercise simulating an ATV accident.

From rapid response to patient care and scene coordination, this scenario pushed our teams to think fast, communicate clearly, and work together under pressure. 💪🚑🚒

Training like this is what keeps us sharp and ready to respond when it matters most.
