I have no clue why no one can like this page, it has been here for 10 years, and there is some kind of European crap asking if this overseas, so dont know y this happened, but I am still making smiles happen by making pillowcases! So thanks to all who keep helping put smiles on kids faces. Cant figure out what there looking for, but I'm in the USA, not Netherlands, etc

Due to covid, I have been making masks, need to switch gears and start making pillowcases again, the prices of material keep creeping up, I wanted to give a little something back for those who donate towards the project, for every $5.00 donated, I will put your name in a drawing for: 1 lb of homemade dark chocolate nonpareils, (Wilbur Chocolate) or 2 microwave bowl holders and a homemade scrubbie!! (So if 10.00 is donated, your name will be entered 2 times.) There will be 2 give aways, first person I pick may pick the prize she/he would like and second drawing will be the gift that wasnt picked. I will have the drawing after Thanksgiving, which will give more time to donate. Thanks again ahead of time! I will try to set up the payment site or you can pay direct and make ck out to the pillowcase project.

I am going to cut out more pillowcases, anyone interested in donating towards material, please either pay me direct thru Paypal as "friends and family" to: urpal311@hotmail.com, (if your paypal is set up against your cking account then no transfer fees will be involved which means all money donated thru friends and family will go towards material and none to the bank or paypal), or you can use the following link, which involves a fee, and please state it is for the pillowcase project, I also make weighted blankets and lap pads for special needs kids and adults, so I had to use this link, it would not let me make up another one for the Pillowcase Project!!! Thanks!!! Last ones went to Chop, LVHN and St Lukes hospitals!!

200 pillowcases will be heading to the hospitals shortly, thanks for the outreach of donations and help getting them there! Merry Christmas and if anyone wants to donate, please let me know! That is what keeps the project going, around 584 Smiles were sent this year!

I dont get many stories, but I am so happy when I do!!! Here is a big Thank You that I got today, so please know, everyone who donates continues to bring smiles!!!! Thanks a bunch!! I still get goosebumps and happy tears when I receive the Thank You and know that simple pillowcase does its joyful job!

Here is the latest update on who helped with the pillowcases! I am so thankful for all your help!!!! This happened May 22, 2019.

Not only as the Berks County Junior Grange Director am I proud of this work, but as the PA State Grange Community Service Director I couldn’t be more amazed by the Berks Juniors.

56 pillow cases finished off to be donated to children in hospitals with an included hand made card by juniors, 55 bags with either suduko, crossword puzzles, or word searches included, a snack, pen, tissues, and hand sanitizer to be delivered to Berks Heim, multiple board games and other related items to be donated to local hospitals, and 96 nurse appreciation gifts to deliver.

All of this done in the jam packed camp weekend.
