A Patient Centered Medical Home is an approach to providing comprehensive primary care for children, youth, and adults. The PCMH is a healthcare setting that facilitates partnerships between individual patients, their personal healthcare providers, and when appropriate, the patient's family. The provisions of medical home allow better access to health care, increased satisfaction with care and improved health. Family Medicine/ Osteopathic Medicine/ Internal Medicine/ Obstetrics/ Med-Peds/ Behavioral Health/ Dental Health/ and school-based healthcare services. We are excited to announce that most of our clinics will be back to regular operations on Thursday, March 19. All open clinics are operating with regular business hours.

We are excited to share that many of our clinics are returning to normal business hours on March 18th! However, we do have several clinics that will remain closed due to power and connectivity outages. Any patients who are affected by these closures will be contacted by an AHC staff member to reschedule.

We appreciate everyone’s patience as we work to continue to open locations as staffing and power allow. Several locations are open but experiencing phone outages. The number to contact these locations will be listed below, next to the facility’s name. If your usual clinic is closed and you need assistance, please contact 989-419-3849 to speak with a member of our team.

Updated: Lincoln Clinic will be opening at 12pm today. We are working to open Lincoln Pharmacy as soon as possible, but they are currently experiencing significant connectivity issues, leaving them unable to fill prescriptions. If you need to speak with a member of our team, please call 989-419-3849 between 10:00am and 5:30pm. To reach Alpena Pharmacy, please call 989-419-3850 between 10:00am and 5:30pm.

We have telehealth visits available today for patients in all areas, as well as in person appointments at open clinics. Walk-In Services will be available at Alpena Services from 10:00am to 5:30pm.

An oxygen refill station will be opening today at MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena to assist those who rely on portable oxygen. The refill trailer will be located in the visitor parking lot near the HealthPlex South Entrance. Volunteers will be available to fill tanks today from 10 a.m until 6 p.m. and Wednesday through Friday 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Please bring the tanks with regulators removed.

Oxygen Refill Station Opens Tuesday at MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena
ALPENA, Mich. – Beginning Tuesday, March 17, MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena will host a portable trailer to refill oxygen tanks for area emergency personnel and community members who rely on portable oxygen.
The refill trailer will be located in the visitor parking lot near the HealthPlex South Entrance on the MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena campus, 1501 W. Chisholm Street. Volunteers will be available to fill tanks Tuesday, March 17, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Wednesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
All portable oxygen tanks without regulators can be filled at the trailer. Individuals should bring their tanks with regulators removed. Volunteers will be on-site to assist with the refill process.
“We are once again grateful to the State Police Emergency Management and the Regional Health Coalition for deploying this portable oxygen refill trailer for our community members,” said Mike Erickson, market president, MyMichigan Medical Centers in Alpena, Saginaw, Standish, Tawas and Towne Centre. “This service will help ensure that those who rely on portable oxygen continue to have access during the community’s recovery from another incredible winter storm.”
MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena has been on full power since approximately noon on Monday, March 16. While some offices closed Monday due to the winter storm, the Medical Center expects to resume normal outpatient appointments, procedures and testing, including provider clinics and Urgent Care, on Tuesday, March 17.
Community members are encouraged to continue monitoring local updates as recovery efforts continue across Northeast Michigan.
