As we head into sick season 🤧, one of the simplest ways to support your child’s immune system naturally is by creating a healing environment — starting with the air they breathe.

💧💧 Why Use a Humidifier? 💧💧
Dry indoor air can dehydrate your child’s nose, throat, and skin — making it easier for viruses to take hold. Keeping humidity around 40–50% helps!!!

💧Keep airways moist so they can better filter out germs 🦠

💧Ease coughs, stuffy noses, and dry throats 🌬️

💧Support deeper sleep and faster recovery 😴💤

💧Protect delicate skin from dryness and irritation 🌸

🧼 How to Use It Safely:
Use distilled or filtered water (no minerals = no white dust)

💪🏼 Clean weekly with white vinegar or hydrogen peroxide

⏰ Run it only when humidity is low — too much moisture (above 50%) can grow mold and bacteria 😬

💕 My Winter Wellness Game Plan 💕

Because our kiddos, life, work, and busy season ahead don’t really care if we’re tired 😅

This season I’m being proactive — not reactive. My goal: energy, strong immunity, focus, and steady motivation all winter long.

Here’s what I’m doing:

✨ Weekly Lipo-Mino + B12 injections
For energy, focus, metabolism, and mood support — so I can show up as my best self.

💉Weekly Vitamin D injections:
Most people dip low in winter, and this nutrient is a huge part of immune strength + happy mood.

🔥Infrared Sauna 3–4x/week
For detox support, immunity, mood, and deep sleep. My nervous system loves this routine.

💧Myer’s IV every 2–3 weeks
A big immune and nourishment reset — especially during sick season. I feel the difference every time.

😴Moving my body daily and prioritizing sleep
This is vital to optimal immune function.

In order to best serve our growing weekend needs during sick season, starting Saturday, October 25, we’ll be consolidating our Saturday hours to 9 AM–12 PM for pediatric sick visits.

Our weekdays hours remain the same for all of your needs, Monday - Friday, 9:00 - 4:30!

You can text us for same-day pediatric sick visits on Saturdays — we’ll get your little ones seen and feeling better in no time! 💛

After 12:00 PM, we’ll be closed for the weekend and will reopen Monday at 9 AM.

We appreciate your understanding as we continue to serve our families with the same compassionate, thorough care you’ve come to expect. 💕

Fever the Functional Way 🤒

A fever isn’t something to fear — it’s your body’s built-in defense system at work! When your child has a fever, their immune system is raising the body’s temperature to make it harder for viruses and bacteria to survive, while activating white blood cells that fight infection. In other words, fever is part of the healing process, not the enemy.

Here’s how to help comfort your child while their body does the hard work ❤️‍🩹
    •    Keep them hydrated with water, electrolytes, popsicles.
    •    Encourage rest — quiet time and extra snuggles go a long way.
    •    Lukewarm baths can gently lower body temp and soothe the skin.
    •    Keep their room cool with light, breathable pajamas and fresh air.
    •    Try ice packs to the forehead or a cool cloth for comfort.
    •    Nourish the body with clean, simple foods and plenty of love.

We save dye free Motrin for last (if over 6 months) — only if the fever causes real discomfort or interrupts rest. Most fevers are a sign of strength❤️‍🔥

Always monitor closely and reach out to your provider if symptoms linger, the fever is very high, or your gut says something isn’t right!
