At the end of last year, we reached out to local pastors about holding weekday services, as that works best for our residents. We are so grateful that as the new year began, they graciously agreed to join us on Thursday mornings at 10:00 AM.

Today, Pastor Daren from Trinity Presbyterian Church of Aledo came and led a truly meaningful and personalized service tailored to our residents and their needs. It was an uplifting morning filled with encouragement, faith, and connection.

We are thankful for the partnership and the spiritual support being poured into our residents each week.

Apollo Elementary School in Aledo, grades K through 5, made it a group project to create Valentine’s Day cards for all of our residents at Arcadia Care at Aledo.

We want to extend a huge, heartfelt thank you to the amazing students at Apollo Elementary for thinking of our residents and helping make their Valentine’s Day extra special. The smiles these cards brought to our residents’ faces truly meant the world to us.

Your kindness made a lasting impact, and we are so grateful for our wonderful community.

Yesterday our Arcadia team hosted a special Galentine’s luncheon for a local grief support group in honor of Random Acts of Kindness Month.

We served Valentine pasta bake, fresh salad, and delicious strawberry shortcake. It was a heartwarming afternoon filled with connection, encouragement, and meaningful conversation. I had the opportunity to share more about Arcadia and the services we provide to support seniors and families in our communities.

Arcadia Care at Aledo celebrated National Heart Month by delivering heart baskets filled with goodies to several cardiac departments and cardiac rehab teams in our community this week.

We are grateful for the compassionate care they provide to so many patients every day. We hope these baskets made them feel appreciated and reminded them how valued they are.

Super Bowl Sunday Fun at Arcadia Care at Aledo!

We had a fun little Super Bowl party! Residents and staff enjoyed delicious Casey’s pizza, refreshing soda, and good company as we watched the big game together. There were plenty of laughs, great conversations, and memories made — the perfect way to spend Super Bowl Sunday!

We visited our local police department to drop off goodie baskets and flu-care baskets as a small token of our appreciation.
To the men and women who serve and protect our surrounding communities — thank you.

One of our sweet residents took time during Bingo to help her neighbor with her cards a simple act of kindness that shows the heart of our home.

Here at Arcadia Care at Aledo, we tried something new last week — Sip n’ Paint!

Our residents had such a great time tapping into their creative side, and a few of our staff even joined in on the fun.
The laughter, the colors, and the conversation made it a truly relaxing and enjoyable afternoon. With such great feedback, we’re excited to announce that Sip n’ Paint will now be a monthly activity in our building!

We love creating meaningful moments and new experiences for our residents — and this one is definitely a keeper.

We stopped in to check on the ladies at the Mercer County Senior Center, and we took a look at this past Tuesday Gal's Day craft. Not bad at all! It is always fun to try something new together and see how it turns out. We love sharing moments like this with our community and watching creativity come to life.

We love seeing our Arcadia Care team out in the community!

Thank you, Jamieson Community Center, for the warm shout-out and for letting our staff jump in and help at the thrift store this month.
Brandie and Hailey had a wonderful time volunteering, organizing, and spreading joy—and we’re excited to continue making this a monthly tradition. Community partnerships like this allow us to serve beyond our walls and stay connected to the incredible people around us.
We appreciate the work you do, Jamieson Community Center, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to support your mission!

We were thrilled to welcome Brandie (L) and Hailey (R) from Arcadia Care back to our thrift store! Earlier this month, four volunteers from Arcadia Care helped get seven racks out onto the sales floor—all while having fun and even doing a little shopping of their own. Today, Brandie and Hailey returned to volunteer again, bringing the same energy and enthusiasm. They plan to make these visits a monthly tradition, and we couldn’t be more excited to see them back regularly! 💛
