We enjoyed a delicious Thanksgiving meal yesterday here at Arcadia Care at Aledo!

Our wonderful kitchen staff prepared an amazing feast, and we are so grateful for their hard work, talent, and heart. A big thank you goes out to them — and to all of our dedicated employees — for making the day truly special for our residents.

From great food to warm smiles, it was a Thanksgiving filled with gratitude, joy, and togetherness.

Today we stopped by to deliver pies to our MercyOne Genesis case managers in Aledo as a small gesture of appreciation for everything they do.

Festival of Trees Fun!

We had a wonderful time taking a few of our residents to the opening day of the Festival of Trees for the annual Silver Bell Social! The day was filled with laughter, smiles, and holiday cheer.

We even got to visit with Santa and enjoy some delicious cotton candy — a sweet ending to a magical outing!

Holiday Wreath Making at Arcadia Care at Aledo

Our marketer Brandie stopped by and spent the day making wreaths with our residents! It was such a fun and creative time — everyone’s wreaths turned out beautifully, and the room was filled with laughter and holiday cheer.

Sweet Treats with Beacon of Hope Hospice, LLC

Beacon of Hope Hospice stopped by Arcadia Care at Aledo to share some smiles and root beer floats with our residents! It was such a fun afternoon filled with laughter, conversation, and a delicious treat everyone enjoyed.

A huge thank-you to Beacon of Hope Hospice for taking the time to do this for our residents, your kindness and thoughtfulness mean so much to us!

🇺🇸 Veterans Day Celebration at Arcadia Care at Aledo 🇺🇸

Today we proudly celebrated our Veterans Day Celebration, honoring the heroes who have served our country. We recognized our veteran residents, our dedicated veteran nurse Julie Windsor, and our special guest veteran Katherine Humphrey, who graciously pinned each veteran during the ceremony.

A heartfelt thank you to Meghan from Traditions Hospice for organizing and leading such a meaningful event. Your time, effort, and compassion helped make this ceremony truly special for our veterans and community.

It was a beautiful afternoon filled with gratitude, pride, and reflection. We thank each of our veterans for their courage and service, you are our heroes every day.

“Fill the Hearse to Fight Hunger”

Arcadia Care at Aledo was proud to participate in the “Fill the Hearse to Fight Hunger” event hosted by Nichols Bewley Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Donations are being collected tomorrow, November 7th (9 AM – 3 PM) and Friday, November 8th (8 AM – 12 PM) at their location to support the Churches of Mercer County Food Pantry – Illinois and FurEver Friends for Mercer County Illinois.

We’re honored to join this meaningful community effort to help fight hunger and care for both families and pets in need.

Inspiring the Next Generation of Healthcare Heroes!

Today, Marketers from Arcadia Care had the pleasure of meeting with 1st- and 2nd-year nursing students and CNAs at Carl Sandburg College in Galesburg!

We had great conversations about future career goals in healthcare and shared why working for Arcadia Care is such a rewarding experience.

A huge thank-you to Scooters of Galesburg for generously donating coffee for the students — it gave everyone that perfect extra boost of caffeine and energy for the day!
