Dear Friends of First Responders,

Every day, first responders answer the call—running toward danger, disaster, and crisis when others must run away. They protect our communities, our families, and often, our very lives. But who is there to protect them?

That’s where Responder Care™ comes in.

Responder Care™ provides essential medical, wellness, and peer support to first responders and their families—often at the very moments when they need it most. From emergency care to ongoing health advocacy, we ensure that those who give everything to serve us are never left to face their own battles alone.

I'm certain you already understand and value the importance of safety, readiness, and trusted care. Now, we’re asking you to extend that same protection to the frontline heroes who stand watch for all of us.

Your generous donation today will:

❤️‍🩹 Deliver urgent medical and wellness support to first-responders in crisis.
❤️‍🩹 Fund community paramedicine and responder-specific health programs.
❤️‍🩹 Provide peer-support and recovery resources for responder families.
❤️‍🩹 Sustain ongoing training and protective health initiatives.

Every dollar you give strengthens the shield around those who never hesitate to shield us.

Please consider making a gift today by visiting https://responder.care/donate. Together, we can ensure that responders—and their loved ones—always have somewhere to turn.

On behalf of the entire EMERGILITY® and Responder Care™ team, thank you for standing with those who stand for us all.

With gratitude,

Tony | Executive Director | Responder Care™ | https://responder.care

The Many Benefits of Volunteering

Responder Care™ is looking for dedicated volunteers to join our mission of supporting those who serve our communities. Whether you’re interested in administrative work behind the scenes or providing operational support in the field, every contribution counts. There is no set monthly requirement for volunteering—you help when you can, where you can, and how you can. Every minute matters.

For EMS Clinicians, Responder Care™ offers unique opportunities to use your skills in meaningful ways, from supporting First Responders and their families to providing EMS coverage at special events throughout the community. Our volunteers also benefit from free EMS continuing medical education, the chance to work alongside advanced practice providers in the pre-hospital field, and exposure to integrated models of care through Mobile Integrated Healthcare (MIH) and Community Paramedicine, all with a focus on caring for the First Responders who protect us each and every day.

If you live or work in Northern Virginia and are an EMS Clinician, First Responder, Public Safety Professional, or a Civilian with an interest or passion in innovative, pre-hospital EMS delivery of care, we invite you to explore the possibilities of volunteering with Responder Care™ and becoming part of a team committed to protecting and caring for those who serve.

As an EMS Clinician volunteering with Responder Care™, you will become an affiliated provider under the EMERGILITY® EMS Agency. This affiliation authorizes you to deliver EMS, Mobile Integrated Healthcare (MIH), and Community Paramedicine support to First Responders and their families throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia—within your Scope of Practice as defined by the Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services (OEMS) and approved by our Operational Medical Director (OMD). In practice, this means that when you are off-duty from your public 911 system or private EMS agency, you can continue to put your training and expertise to work by caring for the health and well-being of the very people who protect and serve our communities.

Few gifts are more meaningful than offering your time, your skills, and your compassion when fellow First Responders and their families are in need!

Bringing Responders Help

02/26/2024

To all who wish to express their support to the family of Trevor Brown and to the families of the injured firefighters through a donation. There is ONE officially sanctioned donation method: Loudoun First Responders Foundation. This donation method is in accordance with the wishes of the family, and has been coordinated with Loudoun County Fire and Rescue and the Sterling Volunteer Fire Company.

Any other Go Fund Me or other fundraiser website that says it is in support of FF Trevor Brown and his family is NOT an officially sanctioned fundraising effort. The SVFC cannot speak to the legitimacy of any other fundraiser sites beyond that.
