Did you know that February isn’t just about Valentine’s Day? It’s also American Heart Month, and this week is Heart Failure Awareness Week. ❤️

Heart failure doesn't mean the heart has stopped working—it means it isn't pumping as well as it should. Understanding the "Faces" of heart failure can save lives. Look out for the F.A.C.E.S. symptoms: Fatigue - Activity limitation - Congestion (coughing/wheezing) - Edema (swelling in ankles/legs) - Shortness of breath

Knowledge is power. This month, let’s commit to listening to our bodies and be heart healthy!

Although we created the calendar of events for February at the end of January, we had no idea we'd be covered with snow and serving snow cones today. The residents and patients are enjoying the different flavors, some even had a few flavors in one.
