Benito “Don” has made an exceptional recovery after joining Inpatient Rehabilitation at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital for a life-threatening heart condition. 💪 His lower heart chambers were quivering instead of pumping – a condition that can lead to sudden cardiac arrest if not treated immediately.

When Don arrived, he needed help with daily activities. ✨ With motivation, family support, and dance sessions with his wife and an excellent care team, he is now walking around the community and climbing stairs – all without any devices.
