We were so honored and grateful for joining a medical team for the Walk for Peace. As a team, we offered some relief for monks after the long walk, and we received blessings from one of the monks afterwards🙏
Of course, as a dog lover, we're also excited to meet Aloka, the Peace Dog! 🐕

We hope everyone is safe and doing okay in this snowstorm🙏
Just wanted to share that Sachiko and Dr. Ueno launched YouTube Channel about Traditional Chinese Medicine. It's done by Japanese for Japanese audience, so it would be appreciated if you could share it with your Japanese family and friends. Of course, you can try to watch it by using an auto translation (not sure if it's understandable, though). Thank you!

Our Story

Tetsu used to work for the Japanese governmental agency and, in 1999, we were sent to Washington DC. After staying two and a half years, we were told to move to Chile. We loved living in the US, and we knew we had to go back to Japan after two years' work in Chile. We had been thinking the way how we could live here.

One day while staying in DC, Tetsu didn't feel good, so we visited one acupuncture clinic. It was a tiny clinic where one acupuncturist and his wife with a dog worked together. We saw each other, and we said to each other, "This is nice! We might be able to do this!" We went to Chile and that thought got stronger and stronger, and Tetsu decided to quit his governmental job and applied for the Chinese Medicine college in TX. He studied hard for 3 years and graduated as a valedictorian.

After working ten years in an integrative medicine practice, he finally opened his own clinic, and I work with him as a receptionist! We can't take our furry kids to the clinic, but our dream comes true!!
