Meet the Team: Kerry Riche

Kerry Riche serves as a family nurse practitioner at Legacy Health & Wellness. She joined the team in February 2024 and brings both love and clinical excellence to every patient she sees.

Kerry is passionate about healthcare because it allows her to help people improve their quality of life. For her, it's about more than just medicine. It's about making sure people can keep working to support their families, spend meaningful time together, and serve the Lord as long as possible.

She values the way Legacy puts family first. “They really support a balance between home life and work life,” Kerry shares. “And we strive to handle as much care as possible right here at the clinic, so our patients don’t have to go to multiple providers.”

Kerry is a vital part of the Legacy team, and we’re proud to have her helping us build a healthier tomorrow together.

“What do you mean, ‘It’s a virus’? Don’t I need antibiotics?”

When providers diagnose a viral infection, it’s because testing, symptoms, and exam findings point to an illness that won’t improve with antibiotics. Most viruses must run their course, but we monitor for signs of a secondary bacterial infection, which may require different treatment.

Using antibiotics when they aren’t needed can cause side effects and contribute to antibiotic resistance. Our goal is to ensure you receive safe, appropriate care based on the type of infection you have.
If symptoms worsen or don’t improve, we’re here to reassess and adjust your treatment.

Contact Legacy if you need us. We are here to help.

The holidays are for celebrating, but your health matters too! Try these three simple hacks:

1. Smart Snacking – Keep healthy snacks like nuts, fruit, or veggie trays on hand to balance out sweet and savory treats.

2. Mindful Eating – Slow down and savor each bite. Paying attention to your meals helps prevent overeating and keeps your digestion smooth.

3. Stress Less, Enjoy More – Schedule mini breaks, practice deep breathing, or enjoy a quiet moment with loved ones. Reducing stress keeps your immune system strong.

Your well-being is the best gift you can give yourself!
