She holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Hamline University in Saint Paul, MN and is a Yoga Instructor. Studying under the instruction ofElsa Wadsworth and Mary Jane Keith. Shannon M is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT200) with the Yoga Alliance. She is a certified Prenatal Yoga Teacher and Doula, serving Central MN and Beyond. She is also a Barre instructor and enjoys teaching many modalities of yoga classes including private instruction. Her lifelong practice of yoga and holistic healing has informed her strategic philosophy to better understand the implications of industrialization on one’s creative cultivation and growth; whether at the individual or group level.

Sunrise Salitations is back 🌞

It’s summertime and island vibes are well underway in the lakes area! The sun is hot and the early mornings have been sensational.

Bring your mat for an all levels sunrise flow at Latoka Beach* from 5:30 to 6:30 am Fridays in July. No experience necessary. All are welcome. $20 cash.

*If raining at 5:00 AM class will not be held.

It is winter in the Midwest and the depth of hibernation is innate in our bones. The life above the surface is barren and seemingly gone forever. Covered with snow and ice, we try to keep summer’s movements and productivity alive. Yet the possibility of this is impossible as we are frozen in time space as only what lies beneath the surface pulses with life.
