On September 5, 1975, the world was graced with the birth of Willie Rosenthal McGinnis, Jr. in Pineville, LA to Bernice Burton and the late Willie Rosenthal McGinnis, Sr. On Tuesday, December 16, 2025, he slipped away from this earthly life, leaving behind the troubles of this world.

A public viewing and visitation for Willie will be held on Friday, 26 Dec 2025 at 10:00 am at New Birth Fellowship Baptist, located at 1328 Enterprise Road, Alexandria, Louisiana, 71303. The funeral service will follow at the same location at 11:00am.

It is with profound sadness yet a sense of gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Debra Gail Thomas on December 15, 2025. Born on June 28, 1955, in Pineville, Louisiana, Debra was a ray of light in the lives of many, a woman whose spirit shone brightly and touched the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her. Her vibrant personality was as radiant as the earthtone colors she loved, reflecting her grounded nature and love for life.

As we mourn the loss of Debra, we celebrate the wonderful person she was and the remarkable life she led. We invite you to join us in honoring her life. A public viewing and visitation will be held at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 11 16th & Day Streets, Alexandria, Louisiana, 71301, on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 10:00 am. We celebrate and remember the life of Joseph Patterson, born on September 7, 1943, in Marksville, LA, who left us on December 13, 2025. Joseph, a resident of Alexandria, Louisiana, was a man who lived life to its fullest. His life was a testament to service, faith, and love.

To honor Joseph's life, a public viewing and visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 8:00 am at St. Juliana Catholic Church, 900 Daspit Street, Alexandria, Louisiana. This will be followed by a Rosary, at 9:30 am and a Catholic Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at the same venue. Military Honors will be rendered at the conclusion of the Mass.

Public viewing and visitation will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025, at 10:00 am at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church in Lena, Louisiana. The funeral service will follow at the same location at 11:00 am, and interment will be at Flatwoods Cemetery Road in Flatwoods, Louisiana.

A homegoing service to celebrate Pamela’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m.with viewing from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at God’s House of Prayer Ministry, 16 Bolton Avenue, Alexandria, LA 71302, with Apostle Angela Davis officiating. Interment will follow at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Alexandria.

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Sheila Marie Collins, a loving mother, devoted wife, and community advocate, who departed this life on November 30, 2025, at the age of 57 in Houston, Texas. Born on March 6, 1968, Sheila was a radiant light in the lives of all who knew her.

A celebration of her life and legacy will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Praise Trinity Christian Ministries Church of God in Christ, located at 5522 Bayou Rapides Road, Alexandria, Louisiana 71303. Public viewing will begin at 10:00 AM, continuing until the start of the service at 11:00 AM.

Sheila will be laid to rest in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park immediately following the service.

Annie was born on March 28th, 1930 and passed away on November 21st, 2025 at the age of 95

Charlotte Cameron Baltazar, born on January 6, 1959, peacefully departed this life on November 21, 2025. She was a beacon of love and kindness, touching the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A public viewing and visitation will take place at the Glenmora High School Auditorium located at 1414 7th Avenue, Glenmora, Louisiana, on Saturday, December 6th, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.

Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at the same location at 1:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather and share their fond memories of Charlotte. All are welcome to join in honoring and celebrating the life of one who brought joy and love into the lives of so many.

After the service, final committal rites and burial will take place at Glenmora Community Cemetery, Glenmora, Louisiana.
