As this year’s theme reminds us, Mission Possible II: Building Community, Uniting a Nation the Nonviolent Way, Dr. King’s message is more than history. It’s a call to action. May we continue to extend the healing ministry of Jesus Christ by choosing love, pursuing justice and lifting one another up.

We are proud to be a part of Children's Miracle Network and honored to benefit from its mission to bring people together to raise money for children's health care in local communities.

Today, CMN unveiled a new look and is asking our community to join the movement to ensure . The outcome: we can do more for kids in our community. And they certainly deserve more.

Returning to school after Christmas break and New Year's brings fresh chances to help kids learn how to stay healthy. School-based Physician Assistant Michelle Harris teaches kids ages 4 to 18 everything from hand hygiene to managing chronic conditions like asthma. She works with students to help them recognize symptoms early, understand what those symptoms mean, and learn what to do when something doesn’t feel right. Over time, she sees kids grow into teens who know how to take action and make informed decisions about their health. Michelle says it’s all about giving kids the tools to take control and build confidence that lasts through high school and beyond.

A Safe Sitter® certification gives teens and tweens the tools to act quickly and responsibly. In this course, students will learn how to manage emergencies, care for younger siblings, and stay safe when home alone. With Safe Sitter®, all about building confidence through practical skills. Classes begin next on Monday, January 19.

Meet Wells, our 2026 Children's Miracle Network Hospitals local Champion! 🎖️
Born three months early and weighing just 1 lb. 12 oz., Wells spent 68 days in our NICU battling incredible odds. During his stay, he received treatment for a collapsed lung, a PDA heart murmur and even underwent a blood transfusion. Thanks to the compassionate care of his dedicated team and the life-saving equipment funded by donations through CMN Hospitals, Wells is now a thriving 4th grader who shines both in the classroom and on the field. He excels in soccer, basketball, golf and even water sports! This year, Wells will proudly share his story with our community and advocate for the importance of children’s health care. Congratulations, Wells!

He made his debut on January 2, 2026, at 6:35 a.m., welcomed with so much love by proud mom Lamitri Gray. Delivered by Dr. Bieber, this little one is extra special as the first baby of the family, and even more meaningful, he shares his birthday with his mom!
