That beautiful brain inside our heads loves to stay busy. It's driven to create stories and sometimes, if we aren't careful, our minds can trick us into thinking these stories are reality.

When is the last time you felt wonder? If it has been a while, I invite you to create some for yourself. Get really present. See the beauty around you.

What a gift, wonder. But it’s up to us to feel it. Just because we see or experience something incredible doesn’t mean that we feel the wonder in it.

Many times we don't like to look at the darkness within us. It seems almost as dangerous at looking directly at the sun. But if we can find a softness for our dark side, and meet that darkness with grace and compassion, we can fall in love with ourselves on a whole new level.

As the days get shorter and we find ourselves wrapped in more darkness than light, now is a natural time to learn from our shadow.

When we feel this emptiness, especially when we're in our 40s and 50s, we can feel as though we are in a Midlife Crisis. Once we have safety and security, we look for love and belonging, then results and mastery. The thing we are to find next is self-actualization. But how can we self-actualize when we don’t know the Self?

There's one underlying question that emerges from almost every coaching engagement: Who am I?
