A & C's cookout/fundraiser is being postponed due to rain...rain and more rain. We want to ensure everyone can come out and have a good time! Our new date is August 19, 2023...same time...same place. We will end the summer with good food, music and prizes. Entering the raffle/donations etc. Is still being accepted. Our goal is still the same getting us a van(s). See you in August. Time to kick this summer off right with food, fun and philanthropy. A & C is having our 3rd Annual Fundraiser. This year's proceeds will go towards purchasing a van(s). Part of our services is providing transportation to our clients and families to doctor appointments, community activities and picking our kiddos up from school. Your donation will help us achieve this. Plusssss.....you have an opportunity to win a Dell laptop computer. Come on June 24, 2023. We will have live DJs, food and prizes. Having fun with purpose!

Parents/Caregivers/Grandparents/Auntie's and Uncle's. You are your kiddos biggest advocate. Continuity of care is necessary to increase the academic development, social, emotional needs and just overall wellbeing of your child. Imagine your doctor giving you a prescription, until it's filled all it is, is a piece of paper. Until the IEP is implemented...it's simply a piece of paper with words. Don't hesitate to pop in at the school, monitor progress or lack thereof, show up to see first hand how and if services are being rendered. Do your due diligence to ensure the IEP is not just a multiple page document with words. But indeed an action plan that is being implemented. So take the time for some surprise visits to see if the school is following the plan. SURPRISE SURPRISE!!

Our opinion is one of the biggest disservices you can do to anyone is not getting them diagnosed. No matter age or suspected diagnosis. However, early childhood intervention has been shown to yield big results including improved language and behavioral skills and even raising IQ's. Don't dis the ability by ignoring concerns and behaviors.
