We are so thankful that God has blessed us with a location here in Alexandria, and are looking forward to continuing to serve Central Louisiana and the surrounding areas. We provide Speech, Occupational and Physical Therapy services, as well as equine-assisted therapy and adaptive music lessons. Our skilled therapists are trained in areas including: ADHD, Autism, Assistive Technology, Behavioral Modification, Brachial Plexus Injuries, CP, DS, PDD, Developmental Delays, Handwriting, Apraxia, Oral Motor Skills, Prematurity, Sensory Integration, Social Skills, Toe-Walking, Torticollis, Myofascial Release, Swallowing, Feeding, Reading/Literacy, Auditory Processing, Toileting, Visual-Motor Integration, and Phonological Awareness. We accept most major insurances, as well as all Louisiana Medicaid Bayou Health plans. We also offer affordable private-pay options when needed. Ellie has Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT), a rare inherited neurological disorder that affects the nerves that connect the brain & spinal cord to the muscles & sensory system. Because those nerves don’t send signals the way they should, it can cause muscle weakness, balance challenges, & decreased sensation, especially in the feet and hands.

But if you know Ellie, you know she doesn’t let that define her. She’s a sassy, spunky girl who keeps us on our toes every single day!

💙🦓 It’s Rare Disease Month! 🦓💙

Thomas has Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), a rare genetic neuromuscular disease that affects the motor neurons, which are the nerves that tell our muscles how to move. Because of this, his muscles are weaker & can get tired more easily.

Thomas is as sweet as can be & works incredibly hard in physical therapy to strengthen those muscles & keep building his independence. His determination & bright smile light up the room!

These two are more than brothers, they’re teammates in a journey most people have never heard of!

Hayden & Daniel both have KDM5C, a rare genetic mutation affecting fewer than 1 in a million people. It impacts brain development, communication, muscle tone, motor coordination, & learning.

These two boys are so loving, kind, & their laughs & smiles light up every room. You can always count on them for a big, strong hug & lots of giggles. They love everyone fiercely regardless of abilities, & are such a joy to have as part of our crew.

Patients are required to be fever-free for at least 24 hours prior to their appointment. If there is COVID or influenza illness within the household, please keep the patient at home. Our facility serves immunocompromised patients, & these precautions are necessary for their safety.

💚 Please notify our office staff as soon as possible if the patient is ill or has been exposed.

MB Therapy, Inc. has been in the central Louisiana area since 2013 providing skilled therapy services to our patients. We are so thankful that God has blessed us with an incredible location, and we can’t wait to see what the future has in store!
