Earlier this week, the 2025–2030 Dietary Guidelines for Americans (DGA) removed specific, evidence-based guidance on alcohol consumption.

At AASLD, we are deeply concerned that without clear limits or cancer risk information, Americans lack the tools needed to make informed health decisions. Evidence-based guidance matters for liver health and public health.
