This patient came to us with a crossbite in the back (top jaw too narrow) and 2 upper teeth that weren't able to come in. We used and expander and some upper braces to help fix the crossbite by widening the palate and used some upper braces to create the right parking space for the front teeth. Now he has a great healthy smile!

That’s because we firmly believe that age 7 is the right time for your kiddo to receive their first orthodontic consultation. Crossbite, underbite, and overbite are common bite differences we see every day. A crossbite affects side to side alignment. An underbite pushes the lower jaw forward. An overbite causes the top teeth to overlap too much.

We had the BEST time bringing a little magic and a lot of dental fun to Plymouth Haven Christian Preschool on Tuesday. 🪄🦷

From magical tricks to big smiles and brushing tips, these kiddos were such a great audience. 👏 We love finding fun ways to teach healthy habits and make dental care exciting.
