It’s been another busy couple of weeks! We visited the National Railroad Museum, cooked with Algoma High School students, painted birdhouses, decorated Easter cookies, stitched some cute Easter pillows, and even had time to play Easter “Minute to Win It” games.

We wish everyone a very “HOPPY” Easter! 🐰 Please remember that ESI will be closed on Friday, April 3, in observance of the holiday.

Another fun day is in the books as we continue to celebrate National Developmental Disability Awareness Month. Today, we turned things inside out as a reminder that what truly matters is on the inside — kindness, individuality, and the unique strengths each person brings to our community. 💛

❄️ Weather Closure – Tuesday, March 17 ❄️
Winter Storm Elsa is still packing a punch, and the safety of our clients, bus drivers, and staff remains our top priority. We will remain closed on Tuesday, March 17 to give county plow crews time to clear the roads and make travel safe again.

A huge thank you to all the plow drivers and emergency service members working tirelessly in this weather. We appreciate you! 💙

Stay safe, everyone!

📢 Weather Alert for Monday, March 16th. ESI will be closed due to the predicted storm. ❄️

It's week two of National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month and ESI celebrated with “Hat Day”—and just like the unique hats everyone wore, each person brings their own special style, strengths, and personality to our community. 🧢🎩👒

It’s a great reminder that our differences make the world more colorful, creative, and inclusive. 💙

Developmental Disability Awareness Month is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the fact that everyone belongs and that every person adds something uniquely valuable to our community. At ESI, we kicked off the week in style with pajama day and created colorful handprint art showcasing our clients’ individuality and creativity. We’re grateful to celebrate the unique strengths of each person—not just during the month of March, but every day. 💛

The Governor has proclaimed March as Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month in Wisconsin!

At ESI, we are proud to honor this month and reaffirm our dedication to supporting individuals with disabilities in leading fulfilling, meaningful lives. Together, we continue to build a community rooted in dignity, connection, and understanding. ✨

March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month! Governor Tony Evers has officially proclaimed March as Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month in Wisconsin! The month/proclamation is meant to raise awareness about the contributions people with developmental disabilities make in all areas of community life, as well as awareness to the barriers that people with disabilities still face in connecting to their communities. You can read the full proclamation below.

We will be sharing posts on our social media to celebrate DDAM so stay tuned.
