Sponsorships are available for the 19th Annual 2026 Pacesetters Golf Tournament! The tournament will take place on Saturday, September 12th, at White Plains Golf Course. The Pacesetters Golf Tournament is one of our key annual fundraisers. The proceeds will benefit families, children, and adults with disabilities in the Upper Cumberland.

Pacesetters is deeply saddened to share the passing of Phillip Andrew “Andy” Melton. Andy was a beloved member of the Pacesetters family for over 20 years. Andy was known for his great sense of humor and contagious laugh that could light up any room. He was determined, never giving up on what he set out to do, and he never allowed challenges to stand in the way of enjoying life or being the center of attention.

He loved his Bible, trains, guitars, puzzles, and cookbooks. Andy especially loved backyard cookouts with family and friends, where he created lasting memories. Many will fondly remember and enjoyed him “bossing everyone around” with a smile. It was often said he was the strongest figure in the world. He would “point” to emphasize what he wanted. Everyone knew exactly what he meant and he got what he wanted with a smile on his face.

Andy will be remembered for his joy, resilience, and the light he brought to those around him. We keep his family and friends in our thoughts and extend our deepest sympathies during this difficult time.
