Attention ACC family and friends: we are hosting a family/friends parade at the end of this month! We ask anyone wishing to participate to decorate their vehicle(s) meet up at a location (tba) & do a few laps by the facility I would also like everyone to be blowing bubbles I think it would be a really cool visual effect for the residents, where our residents will be looking on outside (weather permitting) with decorations and miss/love you signs... As of right now the parade is set for Thursday October 29th which is of course subject to change due to weather at 2:00. I know I joined the rest of the staff and residents in inviting you all to join in the fun! And also for those of you who don't already know we have a new page look up and follow Alhambra rehab and healthcare for all future updates on our loved ones and Friends!

With great emotion I announce that my family has sold the Nursing Home and I will retire on 9/1/2020. We have enjoyed this business, the wonderful community, residents, and families, staff, Dr. Oscar Florendo, vendors, hospitals and doctors, and friends whom we have enjoyed for the past 19 years. This truly is a business where you can count your blessings every day. Words cannot express the immense happiness, love and feeling of great accomplishment this business has brought me and my family.

As my work career comes to a close I energetically enter the next chapter and only wonder what adventures I will have. I am truly blessed to have my husband Charlie by my side throughout this venture. And, both of our sons Michael and Charlie, Charlie who has worked with me for many years, enjoying the family business. He however will be staying in his same capacity as Human Resource Director for the new owners. They are WLC Management Firm of Harrisburg, IL, whom is also an individual owner Scott Stout. Scott will keep all of our current staff, and hopes to offer a seamless transition through this new journey for Alhambra Care Center.

I thank you all for entrusting your loved one with Alhambra Care Center, Inc. I have priceless fond memories that will carry me through my retirement.

Wednesday night was our ACC Prom!! We had so much fun. Between dressing up, posing for pictures and dancing the night away, by the time the night was over these guys were ready to hit the ol dusty trail.
