We are so lucky to have Soka University with their wonderful performing arts center so close to us! We were able to enjoy Masterworks 2026 with Concordia last weekend. One of our residents actually is a participant of this choral group. Fantastic seats for a fantastic concert.

Recently our Schumacher Concert Series brought back David Benoit and his Trio. We have been so lucky to have his group at our community for the past three years, and once again, they did not disappoint.

April 2020. Two weeks after the start of a pandemic that changed our world.
Within 24 hours notice, The Covington was closed up tight. For the next year, our lives would be greatly impacted.
Every day The Covington was there with meals, mail, packages and fun things to do in their homes. Every Friday, Creative Living delivered special treats; popcorn, candy, ice cream and the favorite, the Bar Cart. Our Fitness Instructor did exercises outside while residents were on their balconies.
We did everything to made sure that residents healthy, happy and satisfied in an unsatisfactory time. I for one am proud of the job we did.
6 years was a long time ago. But we came through with flying colors!

Today, we had our annual 1st grade community service with St. Mary's School, our neighbor. The kids come to The Covington to pick up trash which generally turns into loads of leaves. (Our community is really clean!)
They also gave us cards to hand out to the residents. We just thought that this one was hysterical. Gotta love those kids!
