Lifesaving Skills Classes Begin Next Week





Friends and Family Child/Infant CPR

The Friends and Family CPR course teaches the lifesaving skills of hands-only CPR, child CPR with breaths, child AED use, infant CPR and relief of choking child/infant. Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment by using the American Heart Association's technique. Class meets from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 20, Feb. 27, March 13 or March 27.



Heartsaver CPR/AED, Part One

This classroom course teaches basic CPR skills such as performing a head tilt-chin lift, and giving compressions and breaths. The course provides training for anyone who wants to learn basic CPR and obtain a Heartsaver course completion card. Class meets from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Feb. 18, Feb. 25, March 11 or March 25.



Heartsaver First Aid, Part Two

Heartsaver First Aid is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until Emergency Medical Services arrives. Class meets from 1:15 to 4:15 p.m. on Feb. 18, Feb. 25, March 11 or March 25.



All classes are for ages 11 and over.
