For the month of January, we hand selected Barb L. As Maple Heights Simple Wish.
Barb had always been one to kind of blend in with society keeping out of the lime light.
Well, over the last couple years at Maple Heights, Barb slowly started coming out of her shell.
She has made many friends and acquaintances, all who have shown Barb love, support and encouragement without expecting anything in return.
With more confidence in herself, Barb started to dress up, carry herself differently, and started to open herself up to all who are around her.
After approaching the Life Enrichment Coordinator, Barb had put in a suggestion to have a an evening for all to enjoy music, dancing, fine food and dressing up.
It was then when the idea for Barb to have a Simple Wish granted.
With Barbs suggestion in mind, Maple Heights came up with the idea of putting on an evening event, our Winter Snow Ball.
The night was magical.
Barb dressed up like a snow queen and enjoyed an evening of everything she had wished for.
What an honor it is to have been able to grant Barb her Simple Wish.
As you can see Barb absolutely dressed the part and it is visible that she had the time of her life.
We love you Barb and it is our hope that we granted you a night to remember.

On January 30th, as a farewell to January, Maple Heights was honored to host a Winter Snow Ball.
The night was absolutely magical as we all enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
It was an evening of togetherness, with laughter, live music, dancing, and great food.
We are so thankful to have been able to host such a beautiful night.
To all who joined us that night, we hope you enjoyed your evening and gained new memories.

Thank you to Theo Spight for spending the night with us and for the wonderful performance.

Santa's Elves brought gifts to local rehabilitation centers, police and fire stations, community centers, and a dear friend whom we hadn't seen recently, spreading cheer and celebrating the day's accomplishments over a delightful lunch filled with merriment and company. We can't wait to do it all again next year.

For the month of October, Maple Heights was so blessed to have been able to provide a Life Celebrated for a woman who is so very well respected, our very own Geneva D.
In October, we hosted a large birthday party for Geneva along with close family and friends, celebrating a milestone of a birthday to which she turned 104 years young.
What a beatiful experience it was being able to see Geneva celebrate with family that flew in from out of town and friends she hasnt seen in a while.
It was a wonderful turnout full of love, laughter and new memories.
Geneva, we are so blessed to have been able to experiece such an important day with you, and we hope that this year is full of blessings and full of love.
We love you Geneva and look forward to many more years to come.

We had an awesome night hosting Trick or Treat, having our fill of candy, costumes and interaction with kids of all ages. Not only did kids dress up, we dressed up too!
With that said, we can’t wait for next year!
