Can you start Suboxone treatment online in Texas in 2025? The answer is yes.

Right now, you can begin Suboxone by telehealth—video or even phone—thanks to federal flexibilities extended through December 31, 2025. That means no waiting rooms, no long drives, just confidential care from home.

Starting December 31, 2025, new DEA rules will require one in-person visit after your first six months online. Until then, you can safely and legally start treatment entirely through telehealth.
